You tube is a free website that offers individuals to easily upload and share videos that they have originally created. They can also discover, watch, create play lists, save favourites and comment on videos. There are many different types of videos including, sport, music, entertainment, news and politics, film and animation, science and technology, and autos and vehicles, hence the reason why millions of people are connected to you tube. This website connects individuals from around the world, whether friends, family or others that have common interests by allowing each other to watch and share their experiences, and write comments underneath. Personally, I use You Tube as a way of listening to music videos that I enjoy.
Provide a brief account on how the use of planning, storyboarding, and scripting aided your groups short film.
In my group, we made a short film called "Teddies troubles". Within the editing stage of the film process, we used the technique of storyboarding to add or discard parts of scenes in order to obtain the flow and sequence of the film, to view the end product and to make more changes if needed. We also used the technique of scripting which allows the thoughts and ideas of the author to be captured by the audience, and increases the entertainment of the film. In the film, we included mood and expressions, movement, different camera angles, background sound, and on screen graphics and titles. This allowed the group to create the desired end product of the film, and entertainment of the audience due to the audio and visual effects.
